We became a Certified B Corp to demonstrate our deeply held belief that as a for-profit corporation we can conduct business and impact society in a meaningful way. 

What is B Corp Certification?

B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. It's like what Fair Trade Certification is to coffee, or USDA Organic Certification is to milk. 

Today, there is a growing community of more than 10,000 Certified B Corps from 65 countries and over 150 industries working together toward one unifying goal: to redefine success in business. About B Corps  

Our Score

All B Corp scores are published publicly on the B Corporation website. We’re proud of our “Community” score, which reflects our strong Social Impact. Our careful sourcing of spices and nutritious recipes promoting a healthy planet and lifestyle gave us a good “Environment” score. Our B Corp score  

B Local Illinois

As well as being part of a global community of Certified B Corps, we are active members of B Local Illinois and part of the volunteer team that promotes “business as a force for good” in Chicago and the surrounding area. 

Together, we run community events that bring together people who work for, buy from and invest in B Corps, so together we can collaborate, promote an inclusive economy, share best practices and recruit new people and companies to join the B Corp movement in the Midwest. Learn about the B Local Illinois community
